Schools In and Around Wolf Willow

Wolf Willow is conveniently situated within a short distance to many excellent schools. Inside the community of Wolf Willow, there are two designated school sites—one is set aside for a future Calgary Board of Education K-9 school and the other for a future Calgary Catholic K-6 school.

Over fifteen public, Catholic, and private schools are within a fifteen-minute radius of the community, with a range of elementary, junior high, and high schools to choose from. Six of these schools are specifically designated to Wolf Willow—three from the Calgary Board of Education and the Calgary Catholic School District.

Designated CBE Schools

Evergreen School – Grades K-5

Evergreen focuses on teaching its students 21st century skills by creating active learning spaces. As a member of Western Canada’s largest school district, Evergreen teaches the CBE’s regular program which emphasizes Character Development and the Circle of Courage.

Marshall Springs School – Grades K-9

Here, students benefit from a full range of programs, including an award-winning Health and Physical Education program. Aside from the core subjects, students can take Foods, Art, Music, French, Drama and Technology, Fashion, Industrial Arts, and Band classes.

Dr. E.P. Scarlett High School – Grades 10-12

Dr. E.P Scarlett is a caring learning environment that challenges their students to develop their unique talents and abilities. This high school offers Advanced Placement, Dual Credit, Early French Immersion, Late French Immersion, Off-Campus Work Experience, and Spanish Bilingual.

Designated CCSD Schools

St. Sebastian School – Grades K-6

With the Catholic faith at its core, St. Sebastian provides many leadership opportunities and extra-curricular activities for its students. This elementary school includes before and after school care and is a part of the Healthy Hunger program.

Father James Whelihan School – Grades K-9

Faith-based, well-rounded education is taught in a welcoming, inclusive environment at Father James Whelihan School. Students can also join the Hockey Canada Skills Academy here, or basketball, cross country, rugby, and volleyball in the athletics department. 

All Saints High School – Grades 10-12

All Saints High School offers a variety of supplementary programming for its students, such as Advanced Placement (AP), Extended French, and a Hockey Canada Skills Academy. Students can get a head start to their careers with courses including culinary arts, mechanics, cosmetology, communication technology, construction technology, sports medicine, instrumental music, visual arts, and dramatic arts.

Montessori Children’s House Academy – Ages 2.5-6

Glenmore Christian Academy – Grades Jr.K-9

Tanbridge Academy – Grades K-9
