Wolf Willow Home Owner Testimonial: Manraj and Rasina

Earlier this year in May 2021, Manraj and Rasina moved into their new home, built by Trico Homes, in the budding South Calgary community of Wolf Willow. We chatted with them to see what drew them to Wolf Willow and what excites them about the community.

Drawn to the neighbourhood

Manraj and Rasina were looking for a quiet community to call home. When asked what attracted them to Wolf Willow the most, they said, “It is secluded and by the river.” Nestled in the beautiful Bow River Valley, Wolf Willow is the perfect neighbourhood to live in, raise a family, or simply enjoy being close to nature with the conveniences of urban living.

After nearly 6 months of living in the community, they have nothing but positive things to say about their new neighbours. “Every person living in the area is also great.”

Choosing a homebuilder

Manraj and Rasina decided to go with Trico Homes as their homebuilders. It was important for them to find a comfortable home with a good price, which they found with a laned home from Trico Homes! A must on their home buying wish list? “A spacious corner lot” to enjoy the green space!

Trico laned homes

If you’re interested in viewing a laned home by Trico, there are two laned show homes in Wolf Willow – the Mckenzie and Rowan II.

The Mckenzie has a beautiful, open concept floorplan on the main floor with a modern L shaped kitchen design. Upstairs, each bedroom comes with its own walk-in closet and a 3-piece ensuite for the master bedroom.

The Rowan II is a lovely home that’s perfect for the growing family. The home feels light and airy with large windows in the great room on the main floor. The upstairs comes with a spacious bonus room, as well as a 4-piece ensuite in the master – including his and her sinks!

Trico front garage homes

If you’re looking for something a little bit bigger, Trico also has two front garage show homes in Wolf Willow – the Oxford and Braxton.

The Oxford’s main floor is an open concept floorplan with a modern “L” shaped kitchen and a large great room. Upstairs, you’ll find a spacious bonus room, a master suite with a 5-piece ensuite, and two secondary bedrooms.

The Braxton also has an open concept main floor with a large kitchen and great room – including a cozy fireplace. This model comes with a flex room on the main floor to suit any of your family’s needs. The upper floor also comes with a bonus room that separates the master suite from the other two bedrooms.

When asked what they are most looking forward to when living here, they said, “spending summer days by the river.” There is currently one entrance to Fish Creek Park from Wolf Willow, with another entrance in the works.
