Wolf Willow Community: Spring 2022 Updates
Happy March! With spring on our doorstep, things are about to get very exciting here in the community. As the snow starts to melt, construction in Wolf Willow will pick up. Here’s what you can look forward to developing over the next few months.

Wolf Willow Community Parks and Playgrounds
We are excited to announce that there will be two new park designs debuted this year – fish park and deer park! In total, there are 8 parks and playgrounds planned for the community. Each park has a nature theme to tie it to the local environment. The other themes include wolf, insect, bison, and ranch, with the osprey and promenade (flower) parks already completed.

Community Dog Park
The highly anticipated dog park is set to start construction this summer. We know many of you have been looking forward to this dedicated green space in the Wolf Willow community, and we are delighted to get started on it soon.
This sprawling 9 acre off-leash, fenced-in dog park will be the first of its kind in the south of Calgary – that’s nearly 7 football fields of length! Your dogs will enjoy plenty of wide-open space to run and play with enhanced landscaping, themed dog equipment for enriching activities, and fenced areas for different dogs.
If you prefer taking your dog on a leashed walk, there will be a green space just across the street from the dog park. And of course, you can’t forget about the many walking paths and running trails along the Bow River and in Fish Creek Park. There’s even a parking lot for Fish Creek Park in Wolf Willow, making it ultra-convenient to explore.
Wolf Willow’s Commercial Development
Located just off 194th Avenue near the entrance to Wolf Willow, Wolf Willow Crossing will be the home of the community’s retail centre. This 40,000 SQ FT, multi-purpose space is being developed by Luxuria Developments. Residents can look forward to having access to shops, dining opportunities, healthcare offices, and more.
So far, 5 businesses that have signed their leases, including Laugh & Learn Daycare, Liquor Barrel, Canco Fuel, Papa Murphy’s, and Wolf Willow Dental. Phase 1 of the commercial construction will finish this summer, with Canco Fuel breaking ground around the same time as well.
New Community Lots
The next phases of lots are coming soon for purchase, one of which borders the new dog park. This is the perfect location for families with their own pooch(es), or for those who want to dog watch from the comfort of their homes. Available models will include laned and front garage homes from Morrison and Trico.
If you’d rather be closer to Fish Creek Park, you’re in luck. Phases 9 and 4 are also set to start construction this year. Phase 4 has lots backing onto Fish Creek, giving you even easier access to the nature park. Phase 9 will include a connection to the Bow River, as well as the 2 new parks, fish and deer. Both parks will be designed in 2022 and built in 2023.

New Wolf Willow Showhomes
And finally, in addition to the new lots for sale, new showhomes by Madison Avenue Group, Morrison Homes, Trico Homes, and Jayman BUILT will be arriving later in 2022. Keep an eye out on our social channels or subscribe to our newsletter to be kept up to date on their completion.
