Wolf Willow Homeowner Testimonial: Shinean and Marideth

Proud new homeowners Shinean and Marideth took possession of their Jayman BUILT laned home in December of 2021. They were so excited to move to our budding community here in south Calgary. We checked in to see what drew them to Wolf Willow and what excites them about being new homeowners.

Why Wolf Willow?

The biggest draw for Shinean and Marideth was Wolf Willow’s close proximity to the Bow River. They also loved that it’s a quiet and secluded neighbourhood with plenty of great amenities close by in Legacy, like the Township shopping centre, and in Walden. They can be close enough to benefit from all the new shops, but far enough away to not be affected by the traffic. The community is also close to both Stoney Trail and Macleod Trail, giving them quick routes to access different parts of the city.

Before taking possession of their home, Shinean and Marideth frequently visited the community to get to know the neighbourhood. “We’ve already met some of our neighbours and can already feel a strong sense of community.”

They loved being able to easily explore the walking paths along the Bow River, as well as visit Osprey Park with their two dogs. Wolf Willow currently has one entrance to the south end of Fish Creek Park, with more on the way.

Choosing a homebuilder

When it came to choosing a homebuilder, Shinean and Marideth had a few must haves when purchasing a home – a kitchen island, a bonus room, and a spacious living room. “It was important for us to have a space that was functional, spacious, and felt like it could be a home.” Some of their wishlist items included a waterfall island, gas range, glass stair railing, and a yard that was big enough for a large garage.

Looking forward to the future

Now that Shinean and Marideth have moved into Wolf Willow, our new homeowners are so happy to be here. They are most excited about being walking distance from the Bow River, as well as their close proximity to the Blue Devil golf course. The duo is also looking forward to getting to know their neighbours.
